Torture
My Soul
Abigail Williams was whom I was first born in. Abigail’s parents died when she was young so she moved in with her uncle Samuel. Samuel and his family lived in Salem, Massachusetts where many witch trials took place. When Samuel went out work, he left his daughter and Abigail in the hands his slave Tituba. Tituba was a witch and while the girls were with her, she would show them different with tricks. After spending time with Tituba and casting witch spells, Samuel finally noticed something strange with Abigail. Abigail was soon declared a witch. When she died she put a spell on her soul, me, so what I live on in different people’s bodies for the rest of eternity.
Abigail Amelia was the second person I was transferred to when Ms. Williams died. Amelia was the president’s daughter, the second president’s daughter as a matter of fact. I got to explore life through the eyes of such an exciting girl. When Abigail Amelia died of breast cancer I was once again transferred into another woman’s body.
Princess Josephine of Baden was the next body I lived in. Josephine was beautiful and lived a wonderfully as Princess of Baden and Hohenzollern. She married Karl Anton Joachim Zephyrinus Friedrich Meinrad in 1834 at sixty-nine years old. Her life was a pretty exciting as well. But the next body I lived in was the most interesting of all.
Helen Hayes was a fabulous person. She lived her life as a marvelous actress. Throughout her life she was named First Lady of the American Theater. I’m telling you, she was crazy good. Helen was in films, was on Broadway, and even wrote three memoirs. She died on St. Patrick’s Day from her heart condition. That’s when I went to my current body.
Brianna Wiseman is the body I am living in right now. Life is going great being in her. And that’s all I have to say for now!
Cilantro
Laundry detergent is for washing dishes, not for eating. Chemicals are for experiment, also not for eating. Cilantro tastes just like laundry detergent and chemicals all mixed together. Well first trying cilantro, I thought I was eating a random leave from outside. I wonder if it was just pulled right out of the ground, roots and all. The taste just sits in my mouth. The smell of cilantro also makes me gag. It almost smells like a mix of dirt and rooting lemons. Cilantro has a very different odd smell.
Taylor's bracelet
Creating piece 1: Taylor made this bracelet with a group of friends one day when they were together. The day before she bought the clear stretchy string and all different types of beads. She got letter beads to write out the words live laugh and love. The next type of beads Taylor put on her cart were rainbow beads to create color on the bracelet. Then she put extra clear beads in the cart to fill in the extra space in the bracelet. She was very excited to buy all of these supplies because it would be something exciting to create with her friends. The next day Taylor opened all of the packages of beads and string and laid out on the table and waited for her friends to arrive. Her friends were all excited when they came over to create these wonderful bracelets. Each of the friends made their own creative bracelet. Their bracelets symbolize the unique friendship, just like each of their unique bracelets. Now they all wear these to show the friendship they have.
Creating Piece 2: I’m a bracelet that Taylor wears on her wrist everyday. Taylor treats me very nicely everyday. She takes me off every night and carefully places me down by her bedside when she goes to sleep. Then each morning Taylor places we on her wrist and shows me off all day long. All of Taylor’s friends love me. The only thing is that when she types on her computer she tends to hit me on the keyboard. But it’s ok because she makes sure to take care of me through out the rest of the day. Taylor also has a bunch of other bracelets on her wrist that I like to talk to. My favorite friend is the black and pink bracelet. We talk all the time about all different things. All over her are pink hearts that symbolize love. My name is love also and we are very similar. Even though we are on different wrists, we still get time to talk to each other every once and a while. I think she is my best friend.
Act 1
Act 1: Personal Reflection
So far I think that Macbeth is not as bad as people say it is. The language the play is written is can be very hard to read though. The words in the play are hard to because you have to combine certain words together and the combined words do not look like anything we would usually write. Macbeth takes place a very long time ago so some of the words are different than the words we use today. It has a very high diction level. Every other sentence needs to be reread and interpreted at a slow rate. Only into Act 1, you can already see that each of the characters has their own personalities. One thing that surprised me was Lady Macbeth’s character. I was expecting her to be this sweet innocent wife who tried her hardest to stay out of her husband’s “work” life. But she is definitely far from my assumption. When Macbeth sent her the letter about how the witches said he would be king from here after, Lady Macbeth said that she would help him kill the king. Lady Macbeth’s explanation of how she would kill the king was very harsh and cruel, and I would have never expected of women of that time period to have thoughts like that. One thing I found strange was that The King told Macbeth he was second in line for the throne. When the witches told him he would be king, I just figured the king would make Macbeth next in line, not his son Malcolm. It was confusing why the king would do that if the witches had told Macbeth otherwise. That also leads me to believe that there will be many events when the king comes for dinner at Macbeth’s house. Also the witches in the play are a little eerie and strange. I think the three witches could mean something such as the past, present and future. Witch one who said his previous title Thane of Glamis. The second Witch would be Macbeth’s present because she addressed him as Thane of Cawdor. The future witch is the third witch who greeted Macbeth by saying Macbeth shall be king hereafter.
